Dear All,
Last night my production db listener was failed
basically i had connection from oracle to SQLSERVER
and when i check the alertlog ,i got the following error
HS: Unable to establish RPC connection to HS Agent...
HS: ... Agent SID = (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=172.16.5.208)(PORT=1521))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=HSUNITEL))), NCR error = 12570 Unable to retrieve text of NETWORK/NCR message 12570
what could be the problem ?
Please suggest!

ORA-12570: TNS:packet reader failure
*Cause: An error occurred during a data receive.
*Action: Not normally visible to the user. For further details, turn
on tracing and reexecute the operation. If error persists, contact
Oracle Customer Support.
