Autoextend Datafile [message #283562]

The tablespace consist of 1 datafile of 10GB.Using the OEM the graph shows 10MB free.I have enabled autoextend of 100MB to the datafile.
Even after doing lots of inserts still i don't see any increase in either the filesize or in OEM.

Because there was free space inside your tables or inside the blocks of your tables.

Does that mean OEM graph is not accurate,because we have done lots of inserts data of more than 10MB but still the graph shows 10MB free.

You enable autoextend on. and did you check tablespace size before & after data inseration through v$view ?

I don't use OEM, I don't trust OEM.
