Hi,

I have a strange problem.
Ihave a large dump (about 27GB), made from a 64 bit-Solaris.
No I want to import it into Vista (32 bit).
But when I try to use the imp, then the imp-program stops with an error-message - and exit...

Does anybody knows such troubles? Must I use an other system (Linux, XP)

First, did you transfer in binary mode?
Next, what are the version of exp/imp/databases?
Finally, post at lest the error message but better the whole log (if it is not too long else post only the relevant parts).

Yes, You can use any systems as you wish.
