Hello All,
Not sure if this is the correct place for this message but here we go anyway.

Have installed oracle 8i onto windows 2000 server. The issue at hand is that admin user who performed the install is the only one that can import/export data to the database. Even if other windows users are created with the same rights they cannot perform import/export of data.

can anyone help, suggest what the problem could be?

regards

for import or export operation .

user needs >>> full_exp_database or Full_imp_database privs.
if is better to run catexp.sql scripts before doing import or export operation.
