Sir at 8i Environment
Shared Server architecture is poorly configured
mts_servers=1
mts_dispatchers=(Protocol=tcp)
I just want to confirm that wheher i should change this configuration by increasing mts_servers
Or i should switch to dedicated by setting mts_servers=0
Because in shared server architecture
1-the request sent to disptcher ultimately
2-then placed in request queue
3-picked by idle server to fulfill and so on
so a long process is invloved to fulfill user request
Will it affects the performance?
Which of the above is an optimal solution?
If i use dedicated server then perhaps it'll improve performance
isn't it?
