Hi everybody:

I want to know if it is possible to modify information inside redo log or archive log with logminer or other simmilar tool.

The question is if it is possible that something that i expect to find inside redolog or archivelog (insert), someone can dropit and now i can`t see it with logminer.

Thanks a lot.

You have already asked this question elsewhere in at least one other place.

I've recorered a database and im navigatin through archivelogs with logminer and i can't find some inserts that it has to be there.

I want to know if it is possible that someone can change this.

Thanks

To the best of my knowledge, there is nothing out there to let you edit redo logs.
They are very much 'No User Servicable Parts Inside'.

Why do you think the inserts have to be there?

I'm auditing the database and the customer say that they made the inserts. I don't believe this and i'm using logminer to find the inserts.

Thanks a lot for your time.
