Hi

Please give a solution to this..

I have enabled OS Authentication for my Database ..I added the OS NT id to the ORA_DBA group in the server box and in the client i put tnsnames file and connected as follows

conn /@service_name as sysdba.(This i could do from a different box,basically a Windows Client)

I was successfully able to connect ..No issues here..I also performed some basic Database operations .I could also shutdown the Database..But when i startup the Database i am not able to go beyond this point..

set ORACLE_SID=MANJU
sqlplus
/@service_name as sysdba
Here it says service handle not initialized.Just Wondering if i have done everything in place as far as OS Auth is considered..REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE parameter is set to NONE.

Please suggest urgently???

Thanks and Regards
