version upgrade and utlrp.sql [message #185174]

Just upgraded from 9.2.0.5.0 to 9.2.0.7.0

The upgrade went well but one of the final parts of the patch is to run utlrp.sql to compile any invalids, when i run utlrp.sql it gave this error.

PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
DECLARE
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

I have checked all the packages and they were compiled successfully so i cant figure out why this error was raised.

Anyone have any ideas? Is it safe to ignore the error if all packages are valid?

This is in the alert log. Not sure if they are as a result of the upgrade.


Database Characterset is WE8ISO8859P1
replication_dependency_tracking turned off (no async multimaster replication found)
Completed: ALTER DATABASE OPEN

The trace files seem to be pointing to this query..

select 1
      from resource_view 
      where any_path = '/xdbconfig.xml'

We dont really use any of they xml features so i dont understand the above error.

In some cases its says to
STARTUP UPGRADE
before invoking utlrp
