hiall,
I am using oracle8i. Whenever i try to execute the statement
set autotrace on , this is what i get:
SP2-0613: Unable to verify PLAN_TABLE format or existence
SP2-0611: Error enabling EXPORT report

How can i set this option ON

did you already create the plan_table by running $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/utlxplan.sql ?

when i issued the comand @$ORACLE_HOME\sqlplus\admin\plustrce.sql
an error was reported as
SP2-0310:unable to open file.......
