Dictionary Managed Tablespace [message #168803]

Junior Member

Following the Oracle University Docs, I tried to create a Dictionary Managed Tablespace on a 9i/Win2003 platform I received error message Ora-19213, which specifoes "no can do for dictionary managed tablespace". Am I missing somehing??
I appreciate any feedback.

I guess you mean ORA-12913 (and not ORA-19213).

12913, 00000, "Cannot create dictionary managed tablespace"
// *Cause: Attemp to create dictionary managed tablespace in database
//         which has system tablespace as locally managed
// *Action: Create a locally managed tablespace.
